If you will be graduating in May of 2011, you need to make plans for your senior portraits!
Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch is the ONLY official yearbook photographer for our school. Only formal senior portraits done by Lifetouch can be published in our yearbook.
If you did not receive a letter from Lifetouch asking you to schedule your senior portraits, please call them at (256)534-1001 to inform them that you will be a senior at Tanner High School this year.
All senior portraits must be taken no later than November 15th for inclusion in the THS yearbook.
Seniors who wish to have their casual & baby pictures in the yearbook will have to turn in a copy of the pictures you wish to use and a check for $20 along with a copy of the quote you wish to use no later than December 16th. Plan your casual picture dates accordingly so you will have copies to turn in by the 16th. Money, pictures and quotes must be turned in together in an envelope with your name on it to Mrs. Etheredge. We cannot reserve space on the casuals page without your money and pictures being turned in on time.
Some tips for your formal pictures:
Bring the required sitting fee. It will be discounted from your order later.
You do NOT have to rent a tux or a black dress. Lifetouch will provide what you need.
Do not freak out when you see the drape or the tux. The pictures really will turn out fine.
Girls should wear a tube top or strapless shirt.
Guys should wear or bring a "wife beater" (fitted white tank top)
All formals going in the yearbook will be taken using a standard backdrop and a standard pose. You may take additional formals for your own purchase using other poses and backdrops.
Some tips for your casual pictures:
When you go to Lifetouch's studios be prepared!
Know what you want. If you want outdoor photos taken, ask for them!
Bring two or three changes of clothes with you.
Girls, bring your make-up for touch ups.
Bring any props you wish to use.
Lifetouch can do anything you want, you just have to ask.
Be creative.
Be relaxed.
Be on time!
